Deacon Dan Daley and Deacon Don Smith were invited to serve with Bishop Brehl at his first Chrism Mass, Apr. 15. As well Felix, one of the 4 men in priestly formation in our diocese, was chosen as one of the Lectors.

It is possible Father Dobec may have put forth Deacon Dan’s name. It appears that Father Dobec had a great front row seat to participate in this joyful celebration at the Cathedral.

Many of Our Lady of Sorrows choir members sang as part of the Cathedral Chrism Mass 2025.
